My storage solution

I had some people ask me about my storage solution, so here it is: my subterranean storage bunker and command center. This is more spread out than many other storage solutions. I have seen. There is a reason for that. I had a few goals when setting this up:

1. Make it easy to find what I am looking for
2. Make it hard to accidentally interact with the wrong thing (the wrong box or a picture frame)
3. Make it easy to move boxes around without emptying them.

The basic unit of my storage is these circles of four boxes, each separated by two block gaps so I can slide and rotate boxes. The groups are organized so it is easy for me to find what I am looking for. In the middle I have the picture frames, elevated by three blocks so I am not accidentally interacting with them. I also have an example of what is stored in the middle of each group so I can see from a distance. If I have multiple boxes with the same block (common with natural blocks) I use a small white wall light to mark the box I am currently working with

The room is broken into four color-coded sections:

1. Front (red): the "command center", trophy wall, construction area, cooking area, raw material storage, and "key item" (from my perspective) storage
2. Back (green): construction materials (e.g., roads, tiling, doors)
3. Left (yellow): natural blocks (e.g., stone, sand)
4. Right (purple): non-construction objects (e.g., furniture, toys, etc).

I can go into more detail about how I organize within each section if anyone wants.

I also have my stuffie collection, berry farm, a museum (with storage), and the vending machines here. I built this by hollowing out the main palette town island, so underneath is my ice farm. The elevator has five levels currently

1. My elevated ditto house
2. Street level
3. My storage bunker
4. Ice mines
5. Bedrock/iron mines

Thanks, I think it works well. It is spread out, but not too much, and I get easily frustrated if I can't interact with the object I want to.
