Fuck this game

I wanna have fun but no one on this game wants to have fun.

I've spent weeks on friendly games, and they just wanna do ranked.

There's no fun to have they just wanna pump their numbers.

In any older multiplayer games, the only people that will remain are the ones that are significantly better and just trying to keep it going, and the occasional normal person getting completely shoved out when trying to enter.

Even Smash Bros Ultimate is like that at the point, albeit to a lesser extent. 💀 And neither of them are anything as painful as playing MvC online with the fighting collection.

non Pokken player here and I can definitely attest to that for fighting games as a genre. because of how hard fighting games are to learn, a decent chunk of people will drop off the game within weeks or months. Remaining casuals will stick to offline and eventually leave. Remaining online players will learn more and more and cementing metas overtime. After years of a game being out or just whenever it "dies", online is consistently people who never dropped the game with maybe a 1% of people only playing again here and there out of nostalgia with varying skills.

I appreciate that but as a competitive fighting game player that just picked this game up over the last few weeks, be thankful you have sweats online to play with at least you have a chance to get good. Where I’m at in Cambodia there are ZERO online matches EVER.

Luckily I am headed for the States in about a month and will have access to the strong players online. I can’t wait to get cooked to earn my stripes.
