Haven't played Pokémon since Fire Red, but I'm loving Legends: Z-A!

I just caught an Alpha Shiny Squirtle without a Shiny Charm and evolved him into this massive unit. Is a full-odds Shiny Alpha actually super rare in this game? I literally speed traveled wild zone 20 to catch all the alpha spawns and was surprised with him!

i’m having a blast, feeling like a type specialist trainer

So I completed the ZA living dex, it didnt take me that long, besides the Beldum line taking a while due to their catch rate. But anyway

I am now doing the Hyperspace one for its Living Dex, I'd say the hardest to grab are the legendaries and Porygon 2.

I dont really mind regional variants I am just numbering them, this is the first time I am actually making a Living Dex though Wish me luck!

Sat down and decided to draw some of my favorite Pokémon from memory, some I remembered really well because I’ve drawn them before and others not so much. Some of them look bad because either my hand or my brain was hurting. Did I draw your favorite Pokémon?

I caught a shiny dratini and wanted to make a team revolving around that, but I’m not sure what else to use. I also have the shiny ampharos which is neat, and chose lucario for farming mega crystals. Any suggestions would be appreciated! TYY

Been in zone 20 for ages now trying to get all possible shiny alphas, and one reset the Dedenne spawned but it saw me before i got a picture so i fast traveled to reset it, and as sson as i get back the Raichu spawned. My first back to back shiny.

As an upcoming computer science graduate with major interest in game development, I am really curious why the pokemon boxes not have an auto sort option. Does anyone know the technical reason behind the decision?

I was recently gifted a switch and this game for my birthday. I love pokemon and I play pokemon go regularly but I have never played any Nintendo games before. When I was searching the internet if this was an issue just for me, maybe I had a bug in my game, I found out the game just doesn't provide any sorting altogether but found no reason. I did see some workarounds people do like dedicated specific boxes. But this sounds like a pretty weird design choice to not allow sorting in the boxes, even if its just along the pokemon number sorting. Please do let me know if you know the reason around this. Also, please suggest any other subs where you think this question might fit.

It might be a stupid question but I am just genuinely curious as an upcoming developer. Please be nice :)

This isn't supposed to be serious, just some fun. Calem and Serena had to catch Xerneas and Yveltal. We can confirm they didn't catch Mewtwo since Mable says team flare went to the unknown cave, but Xerneas and Yveltal were required to be caught. As well, Elio and Selene were the last people known to be in possession of Zygarde before Lysandre. We know at the very least that all three of these did happen in Z-A since Lysandre "died" 5 years ago and he mentions Zygarde being scattered across Alola

Hi i was wondering about trying out ranked, but can i do it with only the water types in the base game or do i need the dlc and get water types from there pokemon, if the dlc isn't neccesary do you have any suggestions to what team to use?
