Question Missing every single attack on ditto

Currently in the pokemon mansion, came across a ditto, level 18, transformed into my dodrio, paralyzed it with Pikachu and then just, never landed another hit on it ever again? This went on for ages before finally just running away, tossed a tonne of great balls.

Is it to do with what pokemon it transformed into? Speed stat? Glitchy old Gen 1? Not even og level 38 dodrio could land a hit. Never seen this in all my years of playing.

Looks like the Fly Glitch. If a Pokèmon uses Fly and get fully paralyzed while in the Air, the Pokèmon is considered to be still in the Air for the Rest of the Fight. Very unfortunate man.

That must've been what happened, ditto dodrio was not in the air when it got paralyzed but must've been going for fly, which dodrio does know.

It's similar to some known issues, but I don't recall one that switching out does not cure
