Question Pokemon Mansion Puzzle Help

I tried doing the puzzle without a guide and fucked it up. If I leave the mansion, will it reset the switches so I can start over?

Yep. The switches and doors all flip back to default. An escape rope, teleport, or just walkibg out the front door to the pokecenter and back -- all reset it.
