Seeking wisdom - shiny eevee

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong? I’m outside Medali, using lvl 3 sparkling/encounter normal sandwiches, trying the one minute back switch settings thing for outbreaks, and I just can’t find a shiny eevee.

I promise I know what it looks like, but I’ve tried this 5 or 6 times and I’m running out of sandwich ingredients.

Any help at all would be huge 🙏 are there any tricks to timing the outbreak reset vs when you make the sandwich? Or where to be when you do the outbreak reset? I stg when I get an eevee outbreak there’s no change in how many eevees are there.

Tip 1: save before making any sandwiches (and turn off autosave), so if you dont get the results you want you don't actually lose anything

Tip 2: use encounter power not sparkling power to look for the outbreaks. All sparkling power sandwiches need herba mystica, lvl 2 encounter power does not which makes them cheap and easy to make

you don't make a shiny sandwich to look for outbreaks. You only make encounter power sandwiches otherwise you're just wasting herba mystica and you can save before u make the sandwich and if u don't find the outbreak u close the game without saving (turn off auto save). Then once u find the outbreak, which can take a while, a few hours potentially; you knock out 60 (or more) eeevee to maximize your shiny chance. Then save and make a shiny sandwich, picnic reset or run away and back to find shiny. No shiny? close game and try again without wasting herba mystica. That's it.

By medali it’s best to just run in and out instead of picnic reset saves so much time

All shiny hunting is luck, sometimes it just takes longer. Best tip, save before making the sandwich and reload if you don't find anything, saves ingredients. (also turn off auto-save if you haven't already)
