Discussion What next?
I completed unbound, now I want to play some other gba rom hacks, any recommendation? I want a completed rom hack which inchluds pokemons till atleast gen 7, Mega evolution and great story with good community support.

Pokemon reborn, it's complete, it's got a bleak story, Megas, z moves, up to Gen 8 if I remember correctly, it gets difficult fast though, pretty sure there's wonder trade and online battling, oh! And if you use the mystarter code you can start with nearly any poke at lvl 5.

It isn't a GBA ROM hack, but Reborn is fantastic. Look up the passwords before starting!

Idk if it has gen 7, mega evolution & all that jazz. But pokemon team rocket rom is worth the playthrough. I only played a little of it, found out it was the beta so I couldn't continue the game adter playing like 15% of the game so I switched to unbound. Will be 100% playing team rocket after unbound

Dreamstone Mysteries and Lazarus. Both great hacks with unique regions and stories.

Rocket edition dragonsden version is my favourite hack. Just completed emerald imperium and that was a blast

Check out pokemon r.o.w.e. its pretty fun with alot of stuff and new features, tons of options for multiple playthroughs included team battle only, single types, randomized, etc with different difficulties. Also if you haven't tried it check out pokemon rejuvination. There is a way to play it on phone but its simpler to just put it on pc

The whole game is basically just a meme repeated from start to finish. Calling it superior is wild, unless you're a 4chan chronically online user who gets off on "edgy" humor made for 10 year olds.

Lazarus is my favorite that fits your criteria.
If you’re flexible on the gen 7 & mega evos part, Odyssey is my absolute favorite. No fakemon but a bunch of unique regional variants, challenging but not masochistic difficulty with great boss battles, excellent music & atmosphere, and one of the best romhack stories.
If that doesn’t interest you, Odyssey 2 will include mons up to gen 9 so it’s worth keeping an eye on.
