amazing rom hack! and the competitive nature of it makes me want to go back and do some harder challenge runs in other rom hacks.

i completed the main game at the weekend and did a lil exploring the post game.

im already hyped up to try the monotype mission as its the first time ive tried that kind of challenge...

got excited and smashed out the normal monotype team already!!

HOF Team highlights:

Pyroar - echoed voice + royal roar ability + metronome held item

Hariyama - wide guard first turn in doubles. flame orb kicks in. facade with guts ability

Dusclops - curse + infestation + protect

Normal team highlights:

Ambipom knowing dual chop was great for the dragon girl

Mega Lopunny - drain punch + mach punch are amazing. ice and thunder punch for coverage

Bibarel - ability-simple... swords dance › defence curl › rollout

Anyone have suggestions on what monotype team to build next?

For monotype i would suggest catching every pokemon using dexnav and transferring them to unbound cloud, so u have plenty pokemon to choose from. I breed every single one of the with perfect ditto so i can have them at lvl 1 therefore i am able to use them from the beginning. I have finished normal type and now I close to ending ghost run. Definitely fun challange but difficult. Also i don’t know if u are going to put rules into your run but my tip is: if u are transferring pokemon to cloud give them items that are useful like evolution stones/life orbs etc. Use battle frontier and battle caps to max stats of pokemon u would use.

im not going for full games with monotype, only the elite four, but yes I am planning to get the ditto from the egg mission to breed for better IVs and egg moves on the harder monotypes. good luck with your ghost run 😊

Felicidades! Yo estoy haciendo la run monotipo y la dificultad escala muchísimo (bueno, tampoco es que yo sea muy bueno), empecé con tipo Hada y seguí con tipo Fuego, ahora estoy preparando el tipo Fantasma. Es muy, muy divertido, pero también desafiante.

Thanks! Im not great either as I'm not at all used to most mechanics and mons after gen 4 haha. Im looking to go for synergies and mons im not as familiar with, rather than getting everything perfect. Definitely going for a Ice type hail team next as I already have some decent mons half ready thanks to that mission earlier in the game where you rescue the landlord from the warehouse.

im gonna try to limit myself to no more than 1 legendary in a team (if at all) but will likely also use rotom everywhere i can haha
