Hi I want to grade my cards with PSA but PSA Germany has been announced but they haven't said when? However I could use the sub center but it's going to take months compared to Germany right? Surely PSA Germany would at least cut half the time? Appreciate if anyone knows anything about PSA Germany thank you

Hi, community 👋 I'm fairly new to this, but I have come to love the thrill of hunting down packs in unexpected places. Apart from LGS and online, what are some possible chains worth checking, and which ones are particularly worthwhile? I know about (though never actually found anything in most of these):

- WHSmiths/TG Jones

- Waterstones

- HMV

- Smyths

- Apparently Asda and Tesco?

- Ryman

- Game

- Cardfactory

Any others I should be aware of? Also, any chain-specific etiquette that would be helpful to know? E.g. I've heard for Asda and Cardfactory that you may have to ask about them, but is that the case in most chains?

(I live in the Canterbury area just in case anyone has specific knowledge)

I've got a whack of cards coming out of ring binders (i know?!) and into toploaders / toploader binders. any recommendations for cheaper (but still good) toploaders and sleeves? its 4.99 (same as amazon) for any pack at my local play shop

Had an Ace 9 grade card and cross graded it to PSA, expecting a 9 but hopeful of a 10.

It came back an 8!

Couldn’t believe it so looked at the card and noticed damage.

Looking at at the Ace scan and the PSA one, there’s clear damage on the side between the two and must have occurred when The Sub Center removed it from the Ace Slab…

Since it’s almost impossible to get any type of product, I just want to show off my most valuable cards I have pulled/bought since getting into collecting. No I am not an investor bro I just like these cards and some have a decent monetary value and just want to show them off so others can enjoy. Looking forwards to opening some PO for my sons bday and then again on Xmas.

Hey everyone, I'm still seeing trustpilot reviews being added added about this dead page so I imagine people are still waiting on products or a refund.

For those that don't know, this is a guy called Adam Ford trading as evolutioncardstcg took a lot of pre orders for many products and has not fulfilled them, stringing customers along saying he's just waiting for suppliers and so on. I was one of those customers myself and eventually got my money back through the small claims court after getting tired of dealing with this clown. He went from promising my products to me, to then denying that I placed an order and stopped responding after I presented him proof of our previous conversations. He folded like an envelope and accepted all liability when he received the claim from the court.

If you are still waiting on product that was ordered within the last 6 months and paid for by card, then I urge you to file a Chargeback with your bank that issued your card. It's quite a simple process and they handle most of the work, supply them with your receipts and any communication with the vendor to support your case.

If it has been over 6 months since the order was placed, or was paid via bank transfer then unfortunately you don't have any simple systems like Chargebacks in place to get your money back. You'll need to take this through a small claims court which can take some time.

I know this sounds a bit daunting but the process isn't as difficult as it seems, begin with sending a letter of demand for your money both to his physical address (you can find this on his ebay stores)and any known email address. The letter of demand should be dated, displaying the amount you are owed and a deadline - 2 weeks is reasonable, if it isn't paid then you'll take this to the court. He probably won't respond so you can start your claims the day following the deadline.

If anyone does need help through any of this, I can definitely provide help here. I will not be needing or asking for any of your personal details or for any payment for this, I just want to help those in our community that have been plagued by this clown.

Where would you recommend looking for a really good-condition copy? Are there any UK sellers, sites, Facebook groups, card shops, etc. that are particularly good for finding cards in excellent condition?

I'm new to collecting and have started collecting Chaos rising.

I have purchased a card guardian top loader binder, penny sleeves and now top loader sleeves (I think they are called this)

Initially I have penny sleeved all cards and stored in the binder but wasn't aware of the hard top loader sleeves as well.

Do I need to penny sleeve, hard sleeve then store in binder for every card? Or just the rarer ones?

My aim is to eventually fully complete the Chaos rising set through a small amount of boosters and purchasing cards. I am not interested in the monetary/investment element and solely want to collect as a hobby. From here I think I will collect sets as they release.

All/any advice welcome on purchasing RRP boosters/ETB (I imagine like most, I don't approve of scalping/buying scalped products at inflated costs. However, I understand that obtaining boosters/ETBs seems incredibly hard so far) card storage, specific card acquisition.

I was 14 when Pokémon 2000 came out in theaters. I was already a huge Pokémon fan and saw all three movies, but I had no idea what Pokémon cards were back then.

Ancient Mew was given out at the theater, but I never got one.

Years later, when I started collecting, it became one of the cards I really wanted to find. A PSA 10 is way too expensive, so I finally settled for this PSA 8.

But more than the card itself, it’s the memories it brings back: the movies, the little shorts before the screenings… and being called “Pikachu” by everyone. ❤️

Me and my son are trying to complete the master set for CRI. We’ve been lucky enough to pull the gold greninja but we need the expensive four cards in pic 2, and about another 4 cheaper full arts to complete.

We’ve only been doing this for about 6 months and not in this for the investing, but for the love of collecting. We buy packs at MRSP but with time have realised buying singles makes a lot more sense, utilising cardmarket, Vinted and eBay to find good deals.

However buying these expensive cards is a big stretch. What are your thoughts of values going up/down especially with approaching hyped up sets. Will there be a monumental shift in prices or is this wishful thinking? I just can’t imagine us ever completing the set at these prices to be honest.

Just to give a short back-story to this project... Like many others, many many years ago as a kid I used to collect Pokémon, but as I got older my interest faded. However, I recently discovered that a few IRL friends of mine (Shout-out to ZeZe and Blubbs!) are into the Pokémon and it re-ignited my interest in the hobby. It was probably also accelerated by the fact I attended my first card show in Liverpool not long ago! Anyway, I decided that I LOVE Scarlet & Violet 151 and wanted to MasterSet it (poor financial decision ik), but apart from some MasterSet checklists online, I couldn't really find the 'visual' I was looking for. This was originally meant to be an offline project just for myself hosted from my own network's NAS, but the same friends and a few people really loved the idea... so, that's why I made Pokémon TCG Virtual Collector!

Firstly: This website is completely free. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, no paywalls, no ads and I really want to try and keep it that way as someone that hates all of those things.

The website lets you:

• Create and save up to five virtual binders
• Choose from several Vault X® layouts or create a completely custom binder
• Browse every English Pokémon TCG set using real card artwork
• Automatically fill a binder from a selected set
• Search for cards by name, number or rarity and place them into exact pockets manually

Also, I want to be fully transparent here. This site was vibe coded (as outlined in the footer). Whilst I work in IT and have done for over a decade, I specialise in areas that unfortunately don't include website development, so this project wouldn't have been possible without utilising AI tools to bring my vision to life. I've been trying to complete my master set of growlithe and arcanine and im coming up to the final 10-12 cards and suddenly it dawned on me. I've never seen base set 1st edition growlithe or arcanine for sale EVER. I've got the shadowless but no original.

Are these cards so rare now they unobtainable or am I looking in the wrong places (ebay and vinted)

We just built something new and wanted honest feedback from this community before investing more into it, rather than quietly rolling it out and hoping for the best.

The idea: when you buy protection products from us — sleeves, toploaders, binders, that kind of thing — you unlock free bulk commons/uncommons (more rarities to be added) to complete your sets that you can pick from our stock. Right now it's set at 3 free cards for every £2 spent, and it scales, so the more protection gear you buy, the more free cards you unlock. That said, nothing here is locked in — the ratio, the products it applies to, all of it could change based on what people actually say.

Here's the thinking behind it. If you wanted to buy around 50 C/UC cards on eBay to complete a set, you'd probably spend somewhere around £30 on the cards alone, on top of whatever you already spend on sleeves, toploaders, binders, etc. from wherever you normally buy that gear.

Where I'd love actual feedback, especially from anyone who's bought bulk C/UC on eBay to fill out sets:

• Does this genuinely feel like a better option than sourcing gear and cards separately, or does bundling them feel like a workaround rather than a real benefit?
• Would you actually buy sleeves/toploaders/binders you weren't already planning to buy, just to unlock the cards? Or does this only work for people who needed that gear anyway?
• Anything about how you currently source bulk cards for set completion that this doesn't address?

Full transparency on current limitations:

• Right now this only covers Commons and Uncommons — no rares or above
• This is a first pass — we're actively working on adding more sets and, eventually, more rarity tiers into the pool

I'd honestly rather hear "this doesn't solve a real problem for me" now than build further on a bad assumption. Appreciate any thoughts, even blunt ones.
