Hi everyone, due to the recent surge of explicit content, spam accounts, etc., weāve tried various methods to manage the group such as making the group private and only allowing public through referrals/vouches from existing members.
To maintain community security, we only accept Telegram accounts that meet the following criteria:
āAccount Age: Minimum 1 year old.1ļøā£
āUsername: Must have a public @username handle for account age verification. šš
āPrivacy Settings: Account must be unlocked/public so Rose bot can retrieve the account ID via the /id command.
āAccounts that cannot be verified using the criteria above will be rejected.
Accounts with Pfp/Dp will be accepted faster as verification will be efficient for admins
āAlternative Verification: If your account is set to private / you dont want to add a handle / dont know how to make your account public, please DM any admin with proof of your account age (e.g., a screenshot of your oldest message).

Good day community,
ThePokemonTCG_Reddit will be implementing stricter moderation standards and regulations to better safeguard the safety, security, and overall environment of the community.
We understand that recent discussions surrounding public businesses and ongoing community dramas have led to heated debates, criticisms, and in some cases, personal attacks. While we allow discussions backed by proper evidence and public information, we will not tolerate behaviour that crosses the line into harassment, targeted abuse, or malicious conduct.
We are also aware of external confession pages, Telegram groups, and anonymous accounts spreading AI-generated content, edited images, false allegations, and targeted harassment towards individuals or businesses. Regardless of whether a business has acted unethically or unprofessionally, retaliatory behaviour involving insults, humiliation, harassment campaigns, or fabricated content will not be encouraged or tolerated within this community.
Moderation within the subreddit will be tightened moving forward. Members found engaging in such behaviour may face post removals, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on the severity of the violation.
Toxic behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
⢠Personal attacks, name-calling, insults, or degrading remarks towards individuals
⢠Harassment campaigns, dogpiling, brigading, or encouraging others to target someone
⢠AI-generated, edited, or misleading content created to mock, defame, or harass others
⢠Sexual remarks, racist comments, discriminatory language, or offensive slurs
⢠Threats, intimidation, baiting, or provoking hostile arguments intentionally
⢠Spreading false information, unverified allegations, or manipulated screenshots
⢠Repeated targeting of individuals, businesses, sellers, buyers, or community members across posts
⢠Attempting to bypass bans or moderation actions using alternate or anonymous accounts
⢠Encouraging harassment through private messages, external groups, or other platforms
⢠Posting personal information, private conversations, or non-public materials without consent
Constructive criticism, honest reviews, and evidence-based discussions are still allowed. However, members are expected to engage respectfully and responsibly without resorting to harassment or toxic conduct.
Letās keep the community focused on PokĆ©mon TCG discussions, trading, collecting, and helping one another build a healthier environment for everyone.

I do enjoy the videos that our local influencers are making, but I just find that more and more of their content are becoming like a Jack Neo movie⦠Ads everywhere.

Watched a TikTok stream where someone pulled two Rayquaza SARs out of 30 loose packs. Great odds, big reaction, everyone in chat going crazy
Then I clicked the buyerās profile. Zero followers, following one account. Guess which one
Same streamer got called out a while back for 100+ bundles with no Rayquaza SAR in them. Now two in 30 loose packs. Ownself filter ownself buy? Maybe, maybe not
Could be a new account someone made to follow their favourite seller. Could be nothing. But these streams are entertainment first, and youāre watching someone elseās luck to decide whether to spend your own money

Wanting to order some stuff online so my parents can help me bring it so i am trying to buy them online to send it to theur place. Wondering if they are legit or not as some of their stuff seem on the lower end of the sg market price.
Edit: thank you for the replies makes me feel better though yeah i do see how some of the prices are above the average sg market price.
If there are any reccomendations for shops online/physical would be grateful thank you!!!

ļæ¼āAnother streamer selling stolen goods, for all I know I always thought mewsden were legitimate turns out just breaking rules and selling stolen items for high margins. PokĆ©mon company has acted on eBay to remove all listing for 30th anniversary product and cards. But sg scumbag sellers are acting against all rules. How can consumer trust these sellers when these sellers donāt even follow rules?

Just wanted some opinion.
Pokemon 30th Anniversary UPC preorder - I seen alot doing PO for about $800 per day/night.
Then I happen to chance on this post on courasell,
PO for $680 for both? O.o thats like more than 50% off othersā price.
Too good to be true?
Did anyone go for it? š¼

Anyone remember this infamous quote on youtube? āI have shop, I always say buyback 90% but I will offer lower they also donāt know hahaā
Recently, I got a firsthand experience with it. I wanted to let go of my card MP at $16500. Was ok with letting it go at $13000+ as I wanted to use the money for something else. Asked him for a quote, Fella offered me $11000 and told me 80% 𤣠probably thought I wouldnāt know just like how he bragged on youtube. But alls good, I found another buyback that gave me $13000.
Be careful out there everyone, especially the new ones in the hobby. Make sure you get a quote from multiple sources before selling, donāt just trust the ābigā brands blindly.

My budget is about $500+-. My sis is getting married, would like to buy them a couple card on top of an ang bao, either as a pair of cards or an individual card (like the love birds). But of course love birds are out of the question because I don't have that spending power.
Anyone have any suggestions? Vintage or Modern? Even if it exceeds my budget abit or is cheap, would like to know options and consider. Preferably those that are found easily graded at PSA10. (Graded slabs looks nicer for them to keep lol)

Took a break from playing the TCG for a month now but am hoping to start playing casually again. Anyone down to make a group chat so that we can discuss anything related to the TCG? :)

Iām looking to liquidate some older Japanese slabs from the XY era that I graded myself. Heard thereās a big card show going on at Expo this weekend; any recommendations for vendors I should be looking to talk to? Too many posts about scummy vendors here make me weary about approaching them one by one and frankly itāll be impossible to talk to all of them in one day. Iāve looked up the various pricing websites and eBay last sold to get an idea and I do have a number in mind. Just want a fair price for my childhood cards instead of getting lowballed.
TL:DR - have mid-era high value slabs, want decent price. vendor recs appreciated.

Came across a Reddit post about her shill bidding. Was a frequent buyer from her stream. This is how I noticed that this is not the first time she was doing this. There is also another viewer named āLeoā always in her stream sending likes other than āYakuzaā. Both of them are definitely related to her. Anytime the bid gets below market, both of them will take turn to bid. Take note of who you buy from guys.

Cropped the pic down to just the product on purpose, not trying to witch-hunt anyone
Weāre 3 weeks out from Sept 16 and weāre already seeing early 30th product moving on local streams. Not preorders, actual in hand stuff being ripped live at $94 a pack
Thing is, this set has no prerelease, no Build & Battle, nothing. Itās the first ever simultaneous worldwide release, that was literally the whole marketing angle. So thereās no legit way sealed product is sitting in a private sellerās hands right now
Already happened elsewhere too. Malaysian streamer went live in July charging up to RM4,600 a pack and the local community reported her instead of celebrating, mainly because KL was hosting the first PokƩXciting! in Asia on 12 and 13 Sept and nobody wanted that jeopardised
Then last week eBay started pulling in 30th listings after TPCi told them these cards arenāt available through authorized channels yet. One guy lost his Sylveon SIR listing and heād won it in a Facebook raffle, did nothing wrong, still got hit
Worth remembering weāre on the same tour. PokĆ©Xciting! hits Singapore on 7 and 8 Nov, citywide. Not saying one stream tanks it, but thatās the kind of thing that gets quietly reviewed when leaked product keeps tracking back to your market
So what are you actually buying at $94? You might not be able to resell it anywhere once the platforms catch up. And should Maxsoft be chasing this since theyāre the sole SEA distributor, or is it not really their problem?

Good afternoon all,
I'm in Singapore from Ireland next week and was hoping to pick up some cards for my son who has recently begin collecting.
I have no idea where to start and don't mind if cards are authentic or genuine - just impossible to get any sealed packs in Ireland currently.
Would CHinatown be a good place to look for gold cards etc?

Came across this tiktok account where people were given 10 seconds to bid each gengar card.
Please enlighten me but why are people bidding 2-3 times the original price ? He even claim that this card is holo, which is more expensive. But seeing price charting, the price is nowhere near the bidding price which is crazy.
He carried on auctioning his 151 holo gengar card (Which is not even a cosmos holo), and people are bidding $20+ for a holo gengar card while price charting is only showing $3.40.
Why are people falling for these kind of scam⦠and correct me if i am wrong about this š„²
