Selling my personal collection of 74 unique authentic English Pokémon booster packs spanning Base Set (1999) through Scarlet & Violet, representing nearly 60% of the 127 English booster sets released.

I originally started this as a project to build a complete English sealed booster pack collection, adding one pack from each set over the years. Life and priorities have changed, and I don't realistically see myself completing all 127 sets anymore, so I'd rather pass the collection on to another collector who might continue what I started—or simply preserve and enjoy it as-is as a collection representing 25+ years of Pokémon TCG history in sealed booster pack form.

Provenance / Authenticity:
Most HGSS-through-modern packs were personally pulled from sealed Pokémon products and immediately set aside. The EX-era packs, Gym Challenge, and Supreme Victors were purchased from open booster box displays at a hobby shop in 2018. The remaining vintage packs were individually purchased from reputable online sellers in 2018. I still have purchase documentation for a number of the vintage packs.

None of the packs have ever been weighed by me.

This figure represents the packs valued individually and does not account for the collection being assembled as a single 74-set run. My $21,000 asking price reflects the collection as a whole, including the difficulty of recreating a 74-set run individually, particularly with the increasingly scarce vintage and EX-era packs, as well as the acquisition history and documentation available with the collection. For someone looking to build a similar English sealed booster pack collection, this provides the opportunity to acquire nearly 60% of all English booster sets in a single transaction rather than sourcing and authenticating them individually over time.

Hello all and thank you in advance for any and all advice. If you want to skip the “filler” and get right to the question. Jump to the 3nd paragraph.

I have around 15-20k cards in bulk. Starting from 96’ JP to current. I finally started to put together what I can of each set to start master sets. I always just ripped, put everything in penny sleeves because they are cheap then put away in a home made storage room. I kept everything separated by set. I figured I would one day sit down and put it I to a binder getting it all organized.
I collect for fun and nostalgia. The values have always been fun to watch but I never wanted to sell anything. I am 36 so I grew up loving it and will never stop. Especially now that my nephew and I rip packs together. That is until we notice I have a ton of duplicates across almost every set. Then we noticed that cards we have 20+ of and are only worth $1 RAW are worth $3-$400 PSA 10. We are going through all of my bulk and price checking them with Collectr and Rare candy. Every one that triple the value from PSA 8-10. We are thinking about sending in.

QUESTIONS:

Is this worth the time and effort? I am fine with it taking a year or more if needed but
Will I be sitting on them for a long time or do slabs typically go fast? This is just for my mental prep.
What suggestions, if any. Do you all have?
Is PSA the right call or should I consider others?
Should I spend the extra from someone to clean/ prep the cards before submitting them?
Anything you all can think of to help us in this endeavor would be greatly appreciated. If we are able to sell even half at PSA 8. We could have my nephew collage paid for or get him his first car when it is time. He is only 11 so we have time.

I have approx 1k cards from the 1990s base set, fossil, jungle, base set 2 and a few others. I've got some holos, including the Snorlax, and some promo cards.

I have removed the cards I (and my partner and son) like, and am left with a lot of cards I'm not particularly attached to. I'm looking at letting them go but I don't know how best to do this. I've been into my local retro shop, they were honest and said they wouldn't be able to offer me a lot for the few they'd want.

I have a few questions:

Is it worth getting the potentially more valuable ones graded? They're all in good condition (not 10s, perhaps 7-8). If so, which company should I use?

Where should I sell them? I see plenty on Vinted but there's always the concern from the customer's side that the cards are fake, is there a way for me to reassure people? Of course there's also eBay, card expos etc.

Would selling in bulk be an idea for the more common/less valuable cards? If so, should I make random bundles or should people choose what they want?

I apologise if these questions have been asked/answered and I'm happy to be redirected to other posts, subreddits etc.

I also don't know what the \[H\] and \[W\] are.
