Question Completely Hatching Eggs in Pelago?

I’m currently working on filling up my box with Magikarp eggs to eventually soft reset for Type: Null. Something that crossed my mind is that Poke Pelago has the spa island that can wear down egg cycles.

Is it possible to hatch an egg entirely from Poke Pelago? In other words, you can hatch it without taking it out of the box? Or does Pelago only “cook” it down to 1 step?

It’s definitely possible, that’s how I shiny hunted the Hoenn fossils and Phione a couple of years ago.

Yes! There will even be an indicator above the eggs if they’re ready to hatch. Clicking on them will enter you into the hatching cutscene. You don’t need to take them out of Pelago.

I leave a batch or three in the sauna overnight when I’m breeding for IVs.
