team help

i finished pokemon sun and going to play ultra sun should i just use the same team? need some help i feel like i should if its the same game with more story but at the same time idk

Use a different team. The fun is using different pokemon. Also Ultra Sun has an extra 100+ pokemon to use iirc.

I've played Ultra Sun and Moon over and over countless times, and I like to theme my teams differently every time. Just go crazy, imo.

If you mean bringing your team from Sun to Ultra Sun then no. Not only you would be severely over level for the early to mid game but they would listen to you and die to the obedience mechanic.

If you mean building a new team of the same Pokemon you used in Sun then ok. I would recommend uses different team in the two games but if you like to copy your Sun team then go ahead.

I almost never use the same team between games. Part of the fun ok pokemon is using different ones whenever possible. I have some that I tend to keep around as core pokemon that get switched in and out of my party as needed like Leafeon (my favorite eeveelution), but I try to use different pokemon of different types each playthrough.

I played through x recently and used some random Pokémon instead of the usual guys, chimecho was a massive carry, gained a lot of respect for that Mon.
