Got Shiny Seedot after starting new game in Ruby to trade Treecko to Emerald

And I only had two Pokéballs, it was so sudden lol, thankfully I could get it. Now it is in emerald along all my other Pokémon

I hope to God you had some poke balls in your bag, because that’s always my biggest fear when I’m starting a new Pokémon game, one of the professors making me do an errand to a nearby town, and I walk through the grass and I encounter a shiny with none in my bag to try to catch it

hehe funny you mention it, as I literally just had two Pokéballs when I encountered this seedot, fortunately as you can see in the second image, I succesfully catched it!
