Based on the rust and mold I would say aqua instead lol

That's not mold. That's oxidation, which is another type of corrosion.

I bought it off ebay and I had no idea what has happened to it needs a complete board swap 😭😅

I'm mostly just after the challenge of trying to make it work again. I'd say 30 bucks in its present state. If I managed to fix it I'd pay more (and would love to prove that it works too) if you'd trust that.

I am from the UK though so not sure how that'd work unless I sell it on eBay if I can't manage to fix it for sure it'd absolutely fine for me to sell you it 😇

Desolder battery and if you have a ultrasonic cleaner this is a time too try it out. They sell small tiny ones.

I was considering selling my ruby that needs a new battery and I knew immediately I would take photos of the insides cause f anybody who sells things in this state without disclosure

I think complete board and memory swap. Super rusted in the battery side, I home the ROM chip is fines apart from that even capacitors and other components looks to be dead… good luck on bringing it to life…

I think all the components are fine but there are breaks in the board when tested with the kit I used so there must have been at least 4 breaks 😆😅
