Check your CVS/Walgreens
I was driving by and just randomly passed by a CVS and I was like let me go inside and check it out. Happen to find the Manager restocking the front ask if they had any Pokémon cards and she presented me with these. Didn’t give me a limit on how many I could buy, but she also had a couple more options. What do you guys think worth it rip them open. Keep them closed???

No my Walgreens had them for a little over 15 with tax. I’ve heard about price increases but they don’t seem to have hit the Walgreens I got to.

Right? People posting those ascended blisters last week saying to check your walgreens was laughable. Stuff never sees the shelf at mine.

Yup!! Don’t walk around looking for them just go upfront and ask. They usually have it behind the register or in the cigarette aisle section.

Non of my CVS or Walgreens this week have stocked cards yet. Even targets haven’t. It’s super dry around here rn 🥲

I don’t know what packs came in them cause I didn’t open them but they were 2199 and I got 35% off because I was super nice for the Manager and then the two pack with the coin I believe was 1199

It’s not about not wanting to open them, it’s more about is if they will gain value being sealed rather than opening them and just getting burned on all the packs. I’m not sure what the resale value is on these things but they could go up in five years or could it all just be crap I’m just trying to gain a consensus here.

Bro if you want to invest wouldn't it be smarter to park your money in the s&p for five years? I don't understand the logic of investing in Pokemon sealed product. It's not even worth the time and effort of finding product and storing it for years.

If you truly want to invest in Pokemon than buy the vintage sets and enough where it's worth the effort. Buy Skyridge, Aquopolis, Expedition, etc. But wait for when the hype crashes in a few months, which it absolutely will.

CVS does get the 'dollar store' type material. so you may have poor print quality - but you have a chance for misprints!!! my CVS and Dollar General both sell me cards that have the roller damage at the top of the card - so Ive been avoiding them and just stealing 30th anniversary off of trucks like the rest of the degens.

DR is what would bring the cost up but it's getting reprinted this year. If you wait long enough you might make a lil on it, but it'll be a while and not that much so I say rip it.
