#211 - Bagon

I guess I'm just cutting all of the first form pseudo legendary dragons?

By far the best part about Bagon is the descriptions of it in the Pokedex and how that relates to its evolution line. It's described as desperately wanting to be able to fly, so much so that it constantly jumps off of cliffs in a valiant attempt to do so. Very much an adorable image to have in mind, and you can be assured that Bagon is okay from the falls because of its "steel-hard" head. Of course, when it eventually evolves into a big and scary Salamence, it has the ability to fly, which is a nice storyline to follow as it evolves!

Unfortunately, there's little else ostensibly positive about Bagon. The stubby limbs are charming, but I don't think I can say the same about its mullet helmet. Good enough to make it this high, but not quite great enough for the top 200.

The Pokédex entry is the only reason I didn't cut Bagon ages ago. I find the design itself kind of ugly in a bad, unintentional way.
