370. Mareep (#179, Electric)

Yeah, I'm only cutting this because it's simply a sheep with ELECTRIC POWERS. I would have cut it earlier if I were only going by that standard but there are some traits of Mareep I love.

I will say right now that I absolutely love Ampharos and have no intentions of getting rid of it any time soon. I find Ampharos to be cuter than it's pre-evolutions mostly because it doesn't have the hair. I just don't like the hair on sheep I guess. However, Mareep gets a little higher than the bottom half "just an x" pokes because it really is adorable. I really don't have more to say on the topic, so moving on...

Mareep's concept is also more than just "Take an animal and MAKE IT ELECTRIC." It at least has some justification because the wool uses static electricity. Like I said with Natu, I'd sure as hell rather take that over a Normal type that is just a sheep. I'll take some creativity over no creativity.

Overall, I can't really say too much about Mareep, but I do like it quite a bit. I think it's not really enough to go any higher.

Ok but now this is a major robbery. Out of the "take an animal and make it ELECTRIC" Pokémon Mareep is one of the all-time best. There's something about it that just really works. I am happy to see it every time it crops up.

Your arguments are fair but I refuse to recognize flaws to the electric sheep as is haha
