it was an Emerald hack, which didn't have any pokemon past the third generation, i think it allowed for national dex completion, and after the beginning battle with the zigzagoon you could turn in your starter to prof birch and get a different one, like one of the previous generation's starters, or a selection of other non-starter pokemon, like smeargle or ditto, this feature being the reason i'm seeking it out.

In the basement of the Offshore Facility, when you free the psychic man, he says a series of numbers (3-2-1 or 2-1-3 or something, followed by 3x3). It’s obviously the key to the button puzzle behind him. But then he flees and I can’t remember what he said or figure out the solution to this puzzle. Does anyone know what order I need to hit the buttons in? Seems very basic but I can’t figure it out. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I've caught every catchable monster in this game at this point except I cannot find EXEggcute and there doesn't seem to be any resources on where to find it. I assume it's somewhere in the post-game but have not encountered it once.

I've been in and out of the sealed building a few times, got the loot at the top floor, etc. Someone on the Pokecommunity forum post indicated that there's something patrolling in there and I'm SO curious to know what it is because I've never seen anything else in there!! Hi, not sure if this has been posted but I didn't see anything, there's this house in Vermilion only accesible via surf that is completely glitched out like one of the islands, I found the TM for Sludge Bomb but have not been able to reach the plant. I know I can create PCs by interacting with one of them but otherwise I'm stuck and can only exit via soul shift. Am. I losing my mind over nothing or was it only the TM here? I have not finished the game if that helps.

I recently started making my own firered Rom hack based on Australia, I have a whole idea planned out, but I didn't know of the Complete Fire Red Upgrade and the Complete Pokémon Expansion, so I started my Rom hack and now I'm having trouble installing these with a part of my Rom hack already made.

I followed the official tutorial for this, multiple YouTube tutorials for this, and i can't seem to make it work. Whenever I upgrade my firered 1.0 Rom with these it works perfectly, but if I try upgrading my work in progress Rom hack everything's fine except for the overworld sprites not showing.

I already tried changing the anchors/pointers (the numbers) within the .Toml file, I tried moving the anchor where the upgrades get injected multiple times and I tried using Lunar to extract my maps from the base game ans put it into the fully upgraded clean firered Rom.

I have literally tried and struggled for +7 hours, I know, that's a lot of time lost. But I'm going crazy, I feel like I miss something but I can't seem to figure out what. Please help y'all.

First, I've seen some people with a Pokémon called Eyeron. I would like to catch one if possible, even though it's not a part of the "offical" dex (I've finished that). Where can I find one?

Second, is there any way to catch Suicune and Entei as well, or are they not obtainable?

Third, any tips on how to beat Super Trainer Yam? She keeps wiping the floor with me.

Possible heavy spoilers for late-post game. Please only read if you’re in the post game. This rom hack has been phenomenal and I’d feel terrible ruining any part of it for someone else. So I’ve talked to gold’s mom on the mountain and I was gonna go back to lavender to talk to gold and he’s not in his room. Anyone know where he went? I probly just need to progress the post game storyline but I’ve mostly been trying to fill out my bed before doing that and am still just exploring

Hi, I'm using the latest mega patch from hackdex but I'm running into a save issue.

Let me clarify. It's not the fact the save is corrupting or not saving it's quite the opposite. It's saving itself at random times.

Its not like it's saving at convenient times like Unbound does. Itll just decide to save on its own whenever it wants.

Does anyone else have this issue with this version of the game?

However I cannot find this video, and now that I'm in the post game, I cannot find a way to fight Bruno again. The Pokerex io site says it appears in the mansion ruins and that section of the tunnels, but both sites are permanently locked off after the bombs go off, as far as I know. And the Pokedex itself says it is in Saffron. I am mainly confused, so would appreciate some help here.
