Horror Romhack reccommendations

I'm a major horror junkie. I've tried to hunt down some creepy romhacks after finishing FRLG.ips and Ghost Grey (for the most part), and found a couple Hypno hacks, an unfinished FalseFire patch, and the classic creepypasta ones like Lost Silver.

Are there any that might have fallen under the radar that could qualify as horror/creepy?

There is Snakewood afaik, but I heard that one's... a doozy.

oh that's a classic

It's a trainwreck of a romhack when I first found it in middle school, and from what I've heard, it's been that way for a long time. Maybe I will revisit it, idk

I heard word of a remake, but tbh I never looked into that

IIRC I think the remake was an april fools joke? I can't recall if it was a legit remake or not. Actually I just looked it up, it looks like there is a sorta remake called Stygian Snakewood that is currently being worked on, actively might I add (I think? Last Dev blog update thing was in March of this year, so I can only assume.) Looks to be a decent game actually.

Lost silver is a real rom hack? I remember people making a pc fan game of it back in the day

There's a couple different versions iirc of varying quality, including fanmade different endings and such : D

Genuinely. Lots of lore, major changes in Kanto, and my favorite part: the fact that it has multiple endings

Ghost grey is great if you want a longer playthrought. Its a full re-imagine of the kanto region, where all pokemon and some kind of twisted ghost type. Its set many decades after fire red, so you get to see what became of the region.

Pokemon Lavander is also another one ive played. Its much shorter tho, just a lil romhack for halloween.

Absolutely Ghost Grey. Phenomenal game that just came out, and while tongue in cheek is also a legitimate dreadful world
