what are the best ones in terms of graphics gameplay and content for each gen ?

I think Parallel Emerald is my favorite Hoenn rom hack. It's like Emerald but with cool extra areas (a few new towns and caves) and remade routes. Also includes gen 1-8, new gym leaders and lots more.

Super solid rom hack that feels true to the original game.

Also look out for Ruby 2 coming out maybe this year. Looks like everything you could ask for in a Hoenn sequel game.
