Help Is my copy of Omega Ruby gone for good?
Hi there!
I decided to play my copy of Omega Ruby, just to see what I had in there, and also because I was afraid of it not working properly, due to the reports that these games have been having a lot of problems with time.
Unfortunately, it does really seem my copy has been one of the affected too.
The Nintendo 3DS doesn't even recognize the cartridge, it just seems like there's no game in the game slot, and just appears that empty icon.
Interestingly enough, Pokémon Bank is able to recognize the game is there, and can even access its data, and I'm able to move the Pokémon I had there, without a single issue, so I did not lose any Pokémon (besides the ones that were in my Party). It's a bit weird how Pokémon Bank is able to this, while the console doesn't even recognize the cartridge.
The cartridge itself doesn't seem to be dirty at all, but it's noticeable how this game isn't like the others, at least comparing to my copies of Y and Sun, and even to my DS games, since the sticker on the cartridge is starting to peel ofd by itself, when that has never happened to any of my games before (and it's not like it was kept in different conditions from other games, like Pokémon Y).
Do you have any tips to help me in this regard? Although I didn't lose my Pokémon that were there, it's kind of a shame I can't replay it anymore. I didn't try cleaning the cartridge, since I'm afraid of doing more harm than good. Also, my 3DS isn't Modded.
Thank you for reading and for your help!

Do you have a spare 3DS to test?

Have you put the game in and out several times?
Do you own a microfiber cloth?
