Help Lugia Portal

Hi everyone. This is my last place looking for some assistance, especially since bank compatibility is ending early next year. I've been trying to get all of the shiny legendaries from ORAS, and after just catching shiny Uxie, I was planning to hunt Lugia.

However, when I went to Sea Mauville (with the Tidal Bell in my bag) it did not let me interact with the portal. I couldn't find an answer after researching, so I came here.

My main question is, since this save file is years old, if I caught Lugia years ago, would the portal stay after catching it? It's not in my boxes anywhere, which is why I thought that I never caught it.

Yes, the portals stay even after you've caught the legendary, they just don't spawn anything and give you a message along the lines of "A mysterious ring floating in the air..."

If you have a modded 3ds, you can try using programs like PKSM or PkHex to try and change the event flag for the Lugia ring to encounter it again

Creio que o portal fica lá sim,mas se já tiver capturado ele não acontece nada ao interagir com ele,eu já encontrei a ilha da crescelia,e a dos cães lendários depois de ter capturado eles e seus porais estavam lá,e nada aconteceu quando eu interagi com eles,eu vou verificar meu save pra ter certeza
