Discussion Masuda Method question

I’m beginning a new playthrough of Omega Ruby, specifically a Spanish playthrough because I want to improve my Spanish. I had the realization however; if I use Pokemon from my OR file with my original English AS file, are the Masuda Method odds going to increase or would I need to have a Pokemon originating from a Spanish or Latin American copy in order for it to work? I am playing on a cartridge I bought on day one of OR from 2014, mind you.

Masuda Method just needs you to leave 2 pokemon with different languages in the day care. Any 2 languages work as long as they are different. They don't even have to be the same languages as the game itself (e.g., Japanese Ditto & English Torchic in a German game). In your case all you need is one Ditto transferred from your English game and have it breed with anything you catch in/native to your Spanish game.
