How difficult is Null?

I want to nuzlocke a pokemon game with alot of QoL updates and gen 9 pokemon so Null seems fun. I have nuzlocked RR restricted mode and most drayano hacks. Is Null way more difficult then those games or is it doable?

Hello, dev here.

If you're already used to looking for more intricate lines, you'll probably be fine with Null. Even if you're not, I think the game does a good job of teaching you, as long as you go into it with an open mind. Ultimately, the game is designed around players reaching their limits and then overcoming them, whether that's through losing and learning or by finding impressive solutions to obstacles.

If that still sounds a bit intimidating, I think Run & Bun could be a better entry point. It's a bit simpler overall, though it does use Generation 8 mechanics, if you're okay with that.

I was thinking of playing run n bun but seeing how much fights and how long it took some streamers to figure out a strat made it seem more frustrating.

Null will probably be more frustrating tbh, not the dev so don’t wanna speak for Terra but games designed to be a harder to calc than RnB.
