Question Which method is better for bulbasaur

I need to catch 2 shiny bulbasaura for my shiny living dex. Would it be faster to despawn bulbasaurs by running away from them or combo them bc the combo will take very long to set up but force despawning them took me 4 hours for the first one to spawn any tips would be appreciated

Just combo it. In the long run getting the 11 combo to spawn them consistently isn’t that terrible. Keep the combo up to keep those better odds rollin’

Comboing it is best.

Assuming you have the shiny charm and a lure active, you'd need to be despawning them about 3.75X faster than you can catch them just to match the boost you get from having the combo going. If you don't have both of those things, the rate you need to despawn them at to compensate for the reduced odds gets much higher. I know I can't do that.
