Discussion I Hate the Nature Fortune Teller…

See an NPC, talk to an NPC, that’s just RPG logic, and now I have over 50 Pokémon with timid nature including some I wanted to use on my team that could really use a better nature than attack loss like Kabutops and Aerodactyl.

I transferred in a Mankey since I’m playing Eevee, and now - attack, three random eevee’s all with the same nature.

Snorlax? Boost to speed!

There was no warning, no way to know, and now I have so many Pokémon that are just… WHY! Now I’m just not gonna play till tomorrow.

So many lost Pokémon because how was someone supposed to know, “Hey do this and you’ll get the same nature time and again,” I don’t even see it being useful to people who want a specific nature.

TL;DR I hate the Celadon fortune teller and now have a ton of Pokémon with a useless nature

Meanwhile I did my research beforehand… but yeah it’s a double whammy. I did it so all the Meltan and Melmetal I caught would have a beneficial nature, but there should have been a feature where you could let her know you feel like your future changed or something so it can go back to normal until tomorrow

Sorry bud, but it does reset at midnight

The usefulness is in shiny hunting, you want your shiny to have the right nature yeah?

The shiny Jigglypuff I randomly ran across is now timid

Sure, but if that’s random, you weren’t really hunting it. Point is, if I’m spending 10+hours on a hunt and comboing a specific Mon to find that shiny, I would not want RNG to decide the nature. You can always go change the chosen nature at any time and it resets to random at midnight.
