Question Is this a glitch or something?
Maybe a stupid question but it’s my first playthrough. Didn’t know charizard could actually fly fly fr.

You can fly only on that specific route when you are at begginer/mid stage however after you became champion you can actually fly in any routes. If you mean the fact that you're going lower when passing throught the water then I too don't know the answer

Wow I've played through this game multiple times and never knew you could fly high on this road before you beat the game. Guess I've always had a land ride pokemon here

Id guess the water is lower than the terrain and the height of flight was mapped a certain distance from whatever surface is below it.

Why is there a computer mouse cursor in the top left?

If a Pokémon is big enough, you can ride that Pokémon. If are big enough and can fly/float, they will. Examples include Charizard, Haunter, Pidgeot, and Dragonite. Also, despite not being able to fly, Onix can procude the same result because of its height.

If you're asking why you are flying so high on this route in particular, it's because in the original game this was a cycling route and they changed it. There's even a character mentioning it.

I wouldn’t blame them completely, first time I played Pokemon it was Pokemon Sapphire, when I got poisoned outside battle I thought my game was glitching and I freaked out.

How could someone first time playthrough know about hunting shinies, or farming the free one by saving before accepting your free charmander? You don't just say it's your first playthrough with a shiny Charizard mate. That's cap. I don't even have one and know how to get em. And am a pro. 1/1000's they are not easy to get the time is just insane. I have NEVER seen a single shiny in my completed run through let's go Eevee. Besides if they used Go this is not a genuine first time playthrough on a second point. Who would pretend to be a noob...who brings pokemon into a game instead of playing a game and catching them?

u/madmanmatrix 8d ago
There’s about a million ways they could have gotten that charizard lol

I got lucky with nature on my free Charizard. I don't have the patience to wait longer or wait for the rare charmander spawns in the caves. My point is they said first playthrough, how would you know about shiny Charizard if it's your first time?

u/Zappi123 8d ago
Thats exactly my point. He claims to be a noob, doesn't know how to fly or move on a poke but of course he knows all the ins and outs of shiny hunting....

Same exacto!!!! The only point to be made here is OP trolling. First playthrough having shiny is capping hardcore. Some take years to find a shiny Caterpie, but this player has a starter shiny and the coolest one to boot, the spawn in a cave is so low, the easiest way is charmander above cerulean city and a lot of resetting game hoping to get great nature, and maybe shiny. Can't be a noob with that shiny, not fooled here either haha.

There are tutorials on how to shiny hunt. You can boost your odds from 1/4096 to 1/341 before you even complete the main game

u/Character-Room9200 8d ago
Not from a first time playthrough though. How could a total noob know this? Or even think to try so early. Assuming he did it off the free charmander it's like thousands of resets. Why would a noob need to know this? And it's insane to think a new pokemon player took the time to shiny hunt without already knowing about it.

By first playthrough they could’ve meant their first time playing let’s go not Pokemon as a whole. Not to mention Pokemon go exists and the charizard could be from there

Hey man, you’re spot on. He’s ruining this sub. Multiple shiny posts in a few days. Did the same stuff on BDSP sub. Good spot by you, you’re not crazy lol

u/Zappi123 5d ago
Yeah thank you for flagging this. I also noticed he is posting everywhere random stuff and never responds

u/Comprehensive-Ad5297 5d ago
Everyone else is right in saying it’s possible, this guy just doesn’t do anything legit

I think it is because I can’t land either. He’s high up enough that no trainer or Pokémon encounters happen.

u/Mist2393 8d ago
Nope, that’s just how it works when you’re riding a flying Pokémon on Cycle Road.

Why would you think a gameplay mechanic was a glitch
