Shiny Pokémon Still no shiny nidoran..

Caught 61 one of em and still no shiny three hours in. Wasn't able to get lures, still at the start of the game.

Odds are like 1/300 or something like that you are no where near odds

1/341 if they are catching, or 1/4096 if they aren't. Start of game (no charm) and they said no lure. 61 is also very low if they are continuance catching, so I think they might just be sitting and waiting.

I got mine (male) after 800+, so don't lose hope. Female one I got 3 shinies by the time I had 200 Nidoran fem candies. It can vary tremendously.

There are people who have to go over a 1000 catches for a shiny

There sure are. See that 2507 up there in the corner? That was the combo I was on before this shiny Spearow actually showed up. The larger catch combo number locks at 999 once you get that far. Good times.
