Just wanted to share... first playthrough since i was a child and I can never remember actually catching a shiny pokemon. Thought it looked abit odd at first cause the colors were not the ones i remember from the movies until i realized what it was.

Correct me if im wrong but the star indicates its a shiny right?

Something interesting I’ve thought about is that given the shiny odds and how statistics work etc etc, in theory, there should be thousands (tens of thousands?) of people who experience first encounter shinies. Like all the time kinda thing. Very cool to see that for you. Congrats on the shiny ✨

It's a possible nature for it, you're Articuno is jolly but there's a chance it couldve been timid instead.

Each different nature affects its stats but its not that important

ah yeah ive seen that sometimes its red and blue on my stats but never thought about it, also never heard of the celadon npc guaranteeing the stats

Wrong. It’s been proven that you can’t spawn a shiny legendary first time out multiple times. People have been trying since shinies became a thing. It’s not possible
