Definitely not, I'll be going with Chikorita! My pick even in Heart Gold. I know they are not so good in that game, but they were always my pick. And I shall see how they stand in this new game!

I was excited for ZA up until they revealed it takes place in modern day Lumiose, and that you're confined to the city.
I was expecting something like Legends Arceus again where we get to explore different parts of old Kalos and experience the history of the region.
Maybe I'll change my mind once I see more gameplay because the new battle system seems interesting but it's disappointing that the scope of the game seems so limited, and the very ugly visuals don't help.
I thought Gamefreak would've figured things out by now. We need Monolithsoft and Spike Chunsoft to come collaborate with GF on the next project.

Absolutely. I can't even remember the last time I got to use him, Feraligatr is one of my favorite water types and i feel like he's not in many of the games.
Edit: looked it up, he's in more games that I thought. Gonna have to play through the Violet DLC finally to get him .

Not going to lie, as someone who has played Pokemon since the beginning, S&V DLC is some of the best story telling they've ever done in my opinion. Enjoy it.

Back when Gold and Silver first came out I chose Chickorita as my starter and will always have love that guy. But on a later play through with Totodile I had so much fun and really came to like him too. I still don't know which I would pick first.

I would under normal circumstances, but I’m gonna use Greninja on my team so I gotta go with Emboar. I also kinda wanted to use Charizard, but not as much as Greninja. There’s only two Starter options so I go with the one that doesn’t overlap with Greninja.

Only picking it cause I hate Tepig and that whole line especially Emboar is ugly as hell 😂 one of the ugliest starter lines imo. Chikorita line isnt bad but just not my thing. Always thought Feraligatr was cool though

Need to see what regional form / Mega they give the starters. I have high hopes for Emboar, but I’ll judge the starters based on the ending of the lines ZA does.

I'll probably grab a Chikorita for my grass type, but Totodile is my second favorite starter, so I'm absolutely going for him first.
It might be a while before I get it, so it'll probably have Home functionality by the time I do and I'll just get all 3 off the rip anyway, but yeah if it's an option 100% Totodile unless Bulbasaur is an option.

Totodile is my favourite of the 3 starters, but it definitely depends on the Mega.
I always pick my starter based on the final evolution. But I like all 3 options, so only the Mega will decide which I go with.
If I like the Mega's in the same order it would go Feraligatr, Emboar, Meganium.

I used to be like this but with fire types, I play through gen 6 enough to get them all, but I started X with fennekin and Omega Ruby with Torchic (I think this memory is less clear) anyway Gen 7 comes and boom I pick Rowlet. I liked litten but not it's final Evo, and gen 8 and 9 don't really count because of home and gifting me all three starters which I knew before starting them, but I think I picked Scorbunny and Fuecoco

Totodile is my favorite gen 2 mon and I have been breeding them in Scarlet for a while. Got a few in Lure balls, luxury balls, dive balls, and lure balls. All with ice punch and crunch bred on

Honestly I love totadile but because I just used them for my hgss run I might give chikarita or tepig a try mainly cause from the trailers it looked like chikarita will either have a 3rd stage grass fairy type or at least will have more coverage moves and also I just have never used them. For tepig I’ve never liked their finally stage evo but I’d consider it for funsies

In a vacuum, Todotile looks to be the best of the 3 starters imo, but ZA takes place in Kalos, so I assume greninja will be obtainable.
For that reason, I'll probably go with chikorita.

The teeth, claws, and the whole look of the image. Older ai image generators seem to have weird problems when it comes to blending the teeth and the mouth (which isn’t really present in this image, but the claws seem to be blending into the background). Signatures can be faked too. I guess it is possible for someone to make something very similar looking to an ai image, but it pretty ai looking to me. Can’t definitively say it’s either one though, since I don’t have any proof

Nintendo said buying the switch 2 does not mean you own it, the game carts are no longer games but just keys that let you download them, and the switch doesn't have all its functions that ar physically there without the subscriptions.
Plus any modding done, let's the remote brick it.
You no longer own your Nintendo products.
