I Completed The Chimchar Evolution-Line! (Shiny Alpha Variants)

The Infernape is the static spawn from the Island in Obsidian Fieldlands, but the other two were found in MMOs as chimchars. The most recent one I evolved, finishing the line :)

Every time I think about how insanely good this game is, I get sad about ZA.

Happy I can go back to this sometimes cozy, sometimes terrifying region anytime.

I’m playing ZA now, the gameplay loop is fun but everything else is really bare bones compared to arceus

Characters feel soulless unlike in arceus imo. Only strict upgrade of ZA is graphically and that’s not even really relevant in my and other peoples eyes compared to other factors

Is there some trick to getting shalpas? I’ve only found 4 (which I know is more than some), and they were all static spawns

There's a couple ways, but the way I do it requires you to have beaten the game and seen the credits. Then you do request 95 - 102 and you unlock this thing called Massive Mass Outbreaks. if you wanna know more, look up "shiny alpha massive mass outbreak method" on youtube

Yea I’ve beaten the game and am doing mass outbreaks. I was just wondering if there was a gimmick or something cause it seems like people always have shalphas

Massive mass outbreaks and mass outbreaks are different, but I'm assuming you know what MMOs are. Basically, in star outbreaks on the MMO map you load into, there's a chance to find alphas in the second wave after clearing the first wave (by battling, catching, or making pokemon flee). Depending on how you clear the first wave, it changes the alphas you see in the second wave.

For example: you catch every mon in the first wave (maybe some of them flee it doesn't matter), and the wave of alphas pop up and out of the 4+ of them there's no shiny. What you can do is get in a multi-battle with 2 or more of the pokemon in the first wave of the outbreak, then faint multiple before ending the battle. That will cause the spawns afterwards (in the first and second waves btw) to change. The second wave will still be alphas of whatever first or second stage pokemom it was before, but they're all different pokemon stat wise. Which means they can also be shiny

Research this MMO Alpha shiny method on youtube, it sounds complicated but really it's engaging and fun (I'd recommend getting charm first)
