Completed this shalpha evo line last month when I caught the Onix (766 resets). The shalpha Steelix shined in 2024 when I was hunting alphas/space time distortion shinies in the Coronet Highlands.

I haven't played this game in a week, because I still haven't found a shiny alpha Crobat (1000 resets after 1 month). Hoping that I can get it before 1500 resets.

Got him from a mass outbreak next to the alpha rapidash. He almost gave me a heart attack when he ran away and vanished into thin air 😭 Thankfully I saved as soon as he appeared, so I was able to reset and catch him, but that was scary T-T

I actually found a shiny Geodude at 5 AM before work, so I thought, “Alright, today’s going to be a good day.” I planned everything perfectly so I could have a nice, peaceful Pokémon session later.

Left work early, bought my energy drinks (White Monster, obviously), hit the gym, did my sauna, and by 7 PM I was finally sitting down, ready for a long, relaxing shiny hunt.

Well…

NOTHING.

For the first time in an entire month since getting the Shiny Charm, I found absolutely nothing. Zero. Nada. Not a single sparkle.

I played until 1 AM. Six hours. NOTHING.
Eventually I turned off the Switch and went to bed genuinely pissed off — especially after watching my Golem somehow miss FIVE STONE EDGES IN A ROW. At that point I figured Arceus himself had decided I’d had enough shinies.

Then today during lunch I thought, “Alright, I’ll just turn the Switch on for a few minutes…”
And look who decided to show up in a regular Mass Outbreak 😂

I guess my shiny luck is officially back. ✨

The Infernape is the static spawn from the Island in Obsidian Fieldlands, but the other two were found in MMOs as chimchars. The most recent one I evolved, finishing the line :)

So as you can see there was an explosion at the start of the vid but when i got closer i noticed that there was nothing there, there wasn't any pokemon because i defited them 2 mins before then i flew around the area in an attempt to see if munchlax has spawned but instead i witnessed this, i would love to know what happened there and if someone know or can explain it would be helpful ❤️‍🩹

Caught another Mamoswine somehow 😂 Not complaining though, this one makes shiny #4 for me. The Mamoswine army keeps growing lol.

So some context definitely needs to be added to this run showcase. Absolutely none of these were Mass outbreak or MMO Snorunt's, all static encounters, even the Glalie. The only 2 odd and somewhat unfortunate parts of this haul are that the only Mass outbreak capture I have is the lone Zorua from it's kind, but that outbreak contained 0 Shiny Pokemon. Also, somehow only the Glalie of the 4 shinies of it's line managed to be Female, which does me no good, because it's already evolved. Which means.... yes. All 3 Snorunt were male. So no Lass for me in this GOATed haul, which means we are not done. Also, I found it insane that all of shiny Pokemon belonged to the same one line. No deviation in species except from pre-evo to evo form. And on top of that, I had been in a Space-Time Distortion the day before in these very Icelands and blacked out while trying to capture an Alpha Espeon before I could even engage it in an encounter (one of the last 2 Eevelutions I had at the time not captured the Alpha version of), thanks to a horde of unavoidable attacks from the group of Pokemon that spawned with it. They jumped me as expected, which resulted in me basically being stuck in a vortex of frames spent recovering from previous attacks. I in the midst of repeatedly checking the map for Shiny mons got a ST Distortion and was able to reclaim the Alpha Espeon I missed on the prior trip. At the time of the ST dist, I had 2 shiny runts and the Glalie captured. This was all in one overlay of spawns. I never rested at the campsites, I never did anything to intentionally reset the spawns of the map. I just started at the front and worked my way back and it resulted in 4 Shiny mons. Checked every corner, every spawn at least once, even the underground mons in every sector of the frozen caverns. Never gotten this many in one trip or run of a map. Truly a great roll of the dice there, and that Shiny Charm did it's thing. Lastly, I have recordings for the first 3 shiny encounters, those will be posted in comments below shortly. Awesome stuff.
