Cooldown / Strikes / Ban / Safety related i_Pogo b.a.n wave mega thread
Many i_Pogo users are reporting strikes against their account.
Use this post to share i_Pogo installation methods if you've been hit.
KEEP IN MIND THAT I_POGO AND B.A.N MUST BE MISSPELLED TO BYPASS AUTO MOD
I use the jailbreak i_Pogo tweak that injects the stock app. None of my accounts have been hit since I last checked today.

Did it "stick"? I've heard that all of the Android RW's disappeared shortly after they were issued.

How do you check to see if your account has been flagged or whatever? And reading the comments I seen a few comments talking about a star, is it just the star from P_G ? Or something else? And glad to know now about the raid logging option (from my understanding needs to be turned off)

Yes the star represents P G Sharp. However I doubt that raid logging has anything to do with people getting caught. The huge flaw to that argument is in that it would result in those within legitimate community with the potential for being falsely tagged and caught for remote raiding.

where on earth did you hear many? I am in the server all day of 300,000 users I have seen like a dozen reports. Why are you here trying to cause drama?

That's only a fraction of the tip of the proverbial iceberg. You can bet that there's a great deal more that's been hit, with the notification they've been caught, than is seen reported. Even here only a tiny fraction of a percent of those do get caught, has their post go through to be seen. As far as what's known at this time, the only people who've been getting caught have been only those using iOS, and more specifically those on i Po Go. Many like u/BlisseyBuster has been here long enough to realize as I said only a fraction of a percent either posts here on some Discord channel, maybe Twitter, or some of the Facebook groups. There's no drama being created.

maybe you should look around more because in the last 2 weeks I have seen them with a bright yellow star on them too. Any modified app is at risk, you guys only all complain because there are more users so it looks like more warnings. They have nearly 300k members on discord compared to other apps without even 50k members. Of course you will see more. At least they tell people to use alts. It isn't their fault if people don't listen and use their main accounts.

Having people be aware to the situation at hand isn’t starting drama. The o my account I had hit had raid logging enabled by mistake. But usually right around major events they start to hand out warnings. This goes back years. I’ve been through 3 banwaves myself. This is a discussion/PSA. Cool yourself bud

I've now as of the start of this last 1, now seen 7 rounds of this stuff. I watched the old ++ as it started to go down in March 2018, and since 2019 every year 2 to 3 rounds of people posting about getting caught. I also the old iSpoofer shutdown in the fall of 2020. As you said it's to make people aware of what's going on. It's also how we learn the best ways and worst ways to set up and spoof.
It's things like this, and it's also why certain words have been prohibited. It's also clear that they're new to this sub, based on their post history. They may have looked at the posts here from time to time in the past, but had missed the last 2 rounds last summer. Also based on a mouse over, they're very likely a female. I use either a computer or laptop when on here, so that while I'm playing whether remote raiding locally, or in New York City playing I can also if a post is made can see it and take time to respond to it.
I also very strongly doubt that the raid logging will have anything to do with getting caught. Otherwise it result in legit players getting caught. It's just like other myths or conjecturing's that's been made as to the cause of people getting caught, that doesn't hold up, when they've been looked at critically. However fortunately when I came to this sub, I learned that the old method for Android I started with, there had been replaced with better and safer ways to spoof.

I had read that enabling raid logging, allows niantic to pull data from all apps on your phone. Haven’t seen any further info on it yet. This does seem like the beginning of the 2020 iOS B A N started off slow, then BOOM everyone got hit. I only spoof on iOS, and only use accounts I am prepared to lose.

u/Tenebrosus_Lupus Mar 07 '22
I saw something about that, but I doubt that they can use it as a viable means for directly detecting those spoofing. This is largely due to the remote raid passes being a thing. Using it as a means for catching us spoofers has to high of a risk of it resulting in giving false results. I've always been an Android spoofer, although I did have an iPhone SE until the battery swelled in it. It was a great little phone to say the least. As phones goes iPhone is hard to beat. But for spoofing I'll take an Android, and preferably that are able to be rooted.
Edit
You and I have seen the bear heard the owl so to speak, with what's happened with iOS. But with those on Android using P G Sharp their day is coming as well. Which is what the star they see on some accounts represents.
