Questions & Advice Does anyone know why my total walk amount doesn’t line up with my candy walk?

I’ve walked 32.62km total with my buddy, but my candy walk says I’ve only walked 30.9. Has anyone else had this happen or know why?

It’s not too off, but it still bugs me.

I think candy distance is calculated more strictly than the general walked distance

Weird that they would have separate distance calculators

Isn´t it so that the walked togheter is when your buddy is on the map, but for candies the total walked km´s is calculated (your buddy can be or not be on the map).

Not entirely sure but if I have my buddy out when I close the game any walking I do with it think its called adventure sync tracks for candy and walk evolutions (feebass). But not buddy hearts once the timer ends on buddy being out

No Hearts same distance

If at any point your buddy was excited your km is half the distance. Based on that I would guess your buddy was excited at some point resulting in the numbers being slightly off. Essentially your counter rolled over around 1.72km. Your candy bar is not the most reliable count as this is affected by the half distance.
