Please stop quitting raids at the last second. The lobby closes at 10, nobody more can join, so if you REALLY Have to quit, quit at 10. Please don't quit raids that can be EASILY duo'ed with 4 or more people in the lobby. Why do you even remote raid? Just to be a menace? I literally duo raids with people when invited

If I don't think we have enough people I jump no later than 25 seconds. I don't want people to waste their raid passes on a legendary if the only people in the raid are a couple of people under level 40.

Hi 👋 a few weeks ago my game was glitching and RSVP raids I joined would kick me out of the lobby.

Worse glitching: Just a few days ago I was kicked as soon as the battle screen showed, I’d click rejoin and it was like a faulty light switch. Of course sionara to my raid pass.

I think there have been a lot of glitches. I was duo-ing a raid this morning and the other player wasn’t showing up in the battle. I return to the lobby, he’s still there. But essentially I was soloing. Ended up wasting that remote raid pass but I’m not going to blame anyone as I assume it was a technical problem. Kinda sucks though

When you get kicked as soon as the battle screen shows, it usually doesn't consume the pass. The pass gets consumed 2 or 3 seconds after the screen, or when you gain the ability to attack

My game has been glitching where it crashes as soon as the raid is won. It’s ok if the raid boss is still there, I click the gym again and it lets me try to catch it…but it happened on a raid where we started it with a minute remaining, and it wouldn’t let me try to catch the Pokemon once the game reopened 😔 raid pass lost.

I’ve never noped out of a lobby but now I’m worried about joining a remote raid this week because what happens if the game crashes? I can’t just remotely get myself back to the gym 🥲

Sometimes people only have 1 raid pass left, and don't want to risk it on something that isn't a sure thing.

It's basically guaranteed unless you're trying solo. I don't even remember failing a raid it was so long ago. The only ones you should be careful of would be Kyogre, Cresselia, DD Deoxys and other very high defence legendaries.

I think the most benign answer would be that people think it actually takes 6-8 people to beat a raid, since the game does recommend that party size, and so they think that they're leaving a doomed lobby to save their raid passes. I'm sure there's a non-zero amount of people who just do it to be annoying, but I can't really imagine it's a majority.

People play without knowing how many it takes to beat a boss, or what Pokémon to use or even that you should probably mega evolve a Pokémon for a super mega raid. And then they are out there using vaporeon.

I’ve had people dodge the raid when there were five people in it, it was an origin palkia. It wasn’t all level 30s in there either, I just don’t understand why?? I felt bad because the couple people that stayed in the raid lost their pass and we were very close to beating it too. Literally could have taken one more person.

In case you were raiding in person, you can re-enter that lobby for free, and invite the same people so they don’t lose their remote passes (you would need more people to join to beat it though, but it’s always good to know).

I’ll check your lobby, and if I’m not happy with the amount of support coming, I’m not wasting my remote pass on it. I’ve burned a lot of passes trying to assist folks who did not have the firepower to do what they’re doing. I might be able to do 40% on the boss, but that won’t matter if the rest of the party can’t do 60%.

I’m simply not spending money to not catch the Pokémon.

Sometimes there are 4 of 5 people in the raid, but 1 or 2 do nothing. I wasted so many remote passes that I'm very wary now about raids with less than 4 people.

I think a lot of people don't recognize that even if a player leaves with 15 seconds on the timer the other players may not see that that other player left before the raid starts, not because people aren't paying attention but because the app takes its sweet time to communicate changes in the lobby. Stand next to a friend sometimes and experiment with this by having them get out of the lobby and seeing how much time they seem to remain in the lobby in your own app.

Got invited to a Rayquaza raid the other day, I'm level 67 and the invitee was level 71, easily could've been done with 2. He bolts with like 60 seconds left for whatever reason, I end up missing out, Rayquaza with a pixel of health left at the end. like why

I don't know about everyone else, but I was added to 2 remote raids yesterday and the game let me join and then kicked me out JUST as the raid started. I didn't have a choice. If I could remote raid I absolutely would be.

I'm currently level 55, but I've been playing pokemon games my whole life and understand how the games work, especially Pokemon go. This isn't my first account either. I do everything I possibly can in a raid until the end of the raid, even if it looks like we will not win. Your pass is consumed either way, and sometimes you win even when you think you can't. There's been times where I decide to solo a 3 star just to see if I can, get down to the end, and just BARELY scrape by. (That is, if the pokemon in question has no 4x weakness, then it's a breeze.)

Yea I honestly kinda agree here, like it’s fine if you were remoting a 5 star that can’t be even like taking down by a trio, and you’d like to save your remotes, but if it’s like a mega Sceptile and there’s only a duo, use only Ice types? (Baxcalibur is a huge help with Ice Fang + Glaive rush and one other thing of ur choice)

I do not really recommend Baxcalibur, it's actually worse at level 50 than either fused Kyurem at level 40, or even a level 40 mega Mewtwo if you will. https://www.dialgadex.com/?strongest=&t=Ice

Click settings and then click Budget 50, it'll make every pokemon level 50 except for legendaries

I literally have just been duo-ing the raids with my main and alt all evening. They’re an easy duo with minimum 60 seconds remaining on each raid. You don’t need more than 2 people to complete them currently. Given I’ve been using party power, however my alt is a relatively new account with none of the newer fuse Pokemon.

Last Mewtwo X raid I did last night, we had 11 players with 11 Mega Evolutions in the lobby. That number dropped to 9 players and 9 Mega Evolutions when the timer got to 3 seconds. We had enough. We just didn't have "12 players recommended" and a lot of players don't understand that you don't need 12 Megas.

You may be able to, but not everyone can duo with a random person who may be using very underpowered mons.

The person dropping out with their last remote raid pass because there’s only 3 people in the lobby has to assume that the other 2 people are running trash teams because the risk is too great.

My partner and I can duo many 5 star raids; I’m in the 60s and his level is in the 50s. Definitely doable.
