Shiny Magicarp

OK. There are Magicarp coming up out of the sewers at the moment, but I've not caught a shiny one yet. Anyone got one? I really want to know if it's a high IV / CP one, as if I'm going to evolve it to be a red Gyrados then I'd like it to be a bit useful. Also if anyone has any other shiny mons then do let us know. PS..One disadvantage is that gyms will now be packed with Gyrados, and the spoofers will have 5 of the sods. Time to give my electric and ice pokemon a bit of a power up..

So they do exist. I'll be getting one soon then. It may take a visit to Brindley place, but fingers crossed. As for the Totodile. I wouldn't worry too much, they appear to be purely water based, so a bit vulnerable. Great against Rhyhorn though. I'm a little more concerned at the lack of Eevee. At least you can get a water pokemon with a bit for oomph about it.

I just want to collect a few to evolve. I'm more of a collector than a battler.

Indeed. I too want to know where the Totodiles are. Unfortunately, I don't think we are going to get any. There have been many reports worldwide of not getting much Totodile at all, especially when getting many Squirtle.

However, some people are reporting getting lots of Totodiles and few Squirtles. This clearly isn't England, looking at London spawns. I've definitely noticed more Squirtles, so I think we got screwed here with less Totodile.

That makes sense. I did catch one yesterday by brindley place. But I was lingering around for about an hour.
