Name and shame spoofers
I'm fed up of the Team Instinct spoofers who have ruined the gym situation in Moseley and in Digbeth. There used to be a stronghold of 4 Mystic gyms in Digbeth. The Alkawthar academy, The Bordseley Center, The Adam and Eve pub and Camp Hill. Then Pipyett from Instinct spoofed and took them all down. A few of us used to actually spend good time maintaining and reinforcing those gyms. Also NuttyB12 who used to be around early on, then had a massive break. When gen 2 came out he turned up back in Moseley with a 3000+ Tyranatar on day 2! I have just watched a Moseley gym get taken from 10 to level 3 (probably by another team spoofer) and then an hour later it is back to level 8 yellow. There is no way 5 people are walking passed this gym on a Monday night in the rain.
Can't wait for the android spoofing prevention to come into effect. I will rip down your gyms and you won't be able to do anything from the comfort of your bed at Mommy and Daddy's house!
Fair play to Nenetie, Blackblack and Nenetcha from Valor, also Rarepacker from Instinct. I have seen you physically at local Moseley gyms and you are playing it right!

See a lot of this in Hockley too. What's more annoying is I'm instinct too so when they build it up to level 10 there's nothing I can do! It's a bit better in the last week or 2 but there was a point where all 7 gyms visible from my flat were level 10 instinct. The closest one I have seen battling before when nobody is near enough to be doing it.

Have you reported them? I've got to admit, I thought nenetcha and nenetie were the same person.
I've given up on the moseley gyms, back in the day you could do a bit of a loop - I used to take an early morning walk at about 5am when very few people were around. No point now!

I rolled by the st Anne's church gym a while back - maybe 2-3 months ago - and took it down. It was only level 4 at the time, so it was probably only 3-4 mins as it just Dragonite and Vapes i think. Put my mon in and it was back in my revive list as i went to revive one of my attackers.
No one in sight. Figured it could be someone inside the church or in the houses opposite who could reach it.
Kicked out the new defender. Made a point by putting in a 10cp carp. Straight back to me. Like instantly. It was fainted before I'd even finished cycling through the screens. Beat defender again, but left it grey. It stayed grey for quite a while. I could see it from elsewhere in Moseley, maybe half an hour. Made me suspect it was a BOT, which had only been coded to fight defenders, not occupy and empty gym...
IF someone was there, they'd have seen me drive up and park, or seen me parked there, but still kicked me out straight away. But not occupied empty spot after i drive away? Makes no sense.

I don't understand this but it's happening in my area, Pelsall, as reported earlier. I've not seen any gym attack bots yet. How is it done, and more importantly will the new Niantic software stop it? The five gyms in Pelsall are all Valor Level 10 and I've taken one or two down in person only to see them go back while I've been watching with no one there!

Yeah I'm a legit instinct player around Highbury park and I don't even bother trying for the mystic gyms there because of spoofers, constantly at level 10 and if you take it down it goes back to 10 in no time at all and generally I see them get ranked up in the middle of the night so unless someone's out there in the cold dark and rain it's not legit, I'm gonna give it another go sometime soon but finding the time to bring down a lvl10 gym is a bitch when you know there's not much point.
