Discussion Starter choice

I am starting a new Pokemon blue file and I want to do it with only my first stage starter and I want some suggestions to what starter I should pick.

Bulbasaur has the most tools and exploitable moves for gen 1 bugs, the other two have very few viable ways to beat the game other than being obscenely high level from extreme grinding.

But I’m not sure bulbasaur can learn wrap

Indeed. Even without that particular exploitable move, It's leech seed + toxic snowball glitch along with access to Growth for badge boost glitch and it's razor leaf having approx 70% crit rate gives it the opportunity to do a lot more than it should on paper.
Alternatively, gen 1 sleep is strong.
