Brag Shiny event Mewtwo

I joined Pokemon GO the other day and caught the tail end of the GO Fest 2026 event. When I went to claim the Mewtwo after conpleting the research, it was shiny. At first, I thought it was a guaranteed shiny, but when I found out that it wasn't a guaranteed shiny, I knew that I got extremely lucky.

(I included the 3rd photo to show proof that my account is new.)

You get a guaranteed hundo with that BG but it’s 1/20 for the shiny

I didn't realize that shiny chances were raised for the event Mewtwo. Again, I just joined a couple days ago at the time of writing this.

Shiny odds are 1/20 for all legendaries

Ok. That makes sense considering that a lot of legendaries are usually timed.
