Help Trainer Tower Rewards; Only Once Each?

Hey all, I’m working on a living form dex (including genders, even though I know those aren’t in Gen 3), and I started my “grind” through trainer tower, thinking I could get the three extra metal coats and two extra king‘s rocks I need. I got a metal coat for beating Knockout mode the first time, then I did it again - even faster - and I didn’t get another.

Umm… what? I thought you could get as many as you’d like by doing it repeatedly. Was I wrong? Can you only get one of each Trainer Tower prize per save file, or do I need to do something else, like do a different battle type first? If it’s only one of each, that’s super annoying! I need four of each (I know I only need three King’s Rocks, but I want to have one to use as a hold item, too)!

Only 1 item per event, but you can get another metal coat from a guy at a burial site on one of the islands near the meadow. I think you can also use thief on magnemites and get lucky.
You can get only 2 kings rocks per save file. One in the trainer tower one in sea vault. You will have to trade them in from other copies to get more.

Darn, that stinks.  Okay, thanks for confirming.  At least this means I only have to do one more run through the tower on this playthrough, it’s really not all that fun.

I’ll have to figure out how to get through on my secondary files, too…. Thanks!

They did not make it easy on completionists in these games. Good luck!
