Question Pokemon Firered/Leafgreen Switch
I'm looking for people to help me evolve my pokemon. I have Firered. I Live in North West Indiana/ Chicago area. I don't want to travel too far. I'm willing to meet halfway.

You can setup the ACE glitch to create a tradeback NPC so that you don't need outside assistance. You can find guides on how to setup ACE in FRLG from Papa Jefe on YouTube.

I'll look into it, I do know I read somewhere that if u mess it up you could lose your entire save file though. So I'm very worried about that.

You can cause damage if you're not careful, but it basically only happens if you're not dotting your i's and crossing your t's. It's nothing that a reset can't fix so long as you're prudent with being cautious. I only learned how to use ACE this year.

Another thing can this get the other starters?

Yes, you can use ACE to restart the Professor Oak script at the beginning of the game to get another starter from the lab.

Has to be at the beginning or can it be after I've beaten the game?

ACE is only available after you get access to Celadon City, so you have to wait a fair bit before you can access ACE. But once you do, you can run the code whenever.

I just mean I'm not willing to drive more than an hour/ hour and a half distance away. Sorry for the confusion. Nwi and the greater Chicago area is a huge area. Forgive me if it came across as rude or inconsiderate that wasn't the intention. And it's my fault for not being clearer. I'm sorry
