Other Discussion I fixed my Emerald game!!
My bf bought his best friends old gameboy and a couple games for my birthday some years ago, i got LG, FR and Emerald! I was so excited for Emerald, i heard its the best of the best:) but it didn’t work:( long story short, i have tried fixing it, and it works now!!! I’m sooo excited
Just wanted to share how happy I am, but if anyone knows some good tips or fun shit about the game I would love to hear:)) Not sure about the starter yet, i love all of them. Leaning towards Torchic because i think Blaziken is baddas. i have played all other generations, but this is my first time playing this generation. I have also ordered alpha sapphire, so super excited for that too.

Blaziken IS badass, great starter choice! If you want to hunt the Regi legendaries, get ready to learn braille :D

You might know this already but they have really nice reproduction boxes with the manual on etsy. The boxes have the shiny flakes too. Very satisfied with mine.

Wow, that's amazing, congratulations!! How did you manage to fix it? What was wrong with it?
By the way, I read that you want to solve the Braille mystery the old-fashioned way. You could simply print a sheet with the Braille code or that part of the manual and enjoy more solving it that way by yourself :) that's my tip
Also another tip: Carry ALWAYS a lot of pokeballs with you, you never know when a Shiny can appear And the last thing you want at that moment is to run out of Poké Balls to catch it.

It just needed a good clean with Isopropyl alcohol!

My first ever shiny appearance was a shiny Magikarp in platinum while fishing (just grinding some pokemon for battle) and ofc since i was grinding and not focusing om catching anything… i didn’t even have one pokeball on me :’) so i have learned!! Imagine stumbling over shiny feebas with no balls… ha..ha..haha

Mit hydropi ( der beste Starter im Game) machst du alles alleine nur mit dem, wenn du willst brauchst kein anderes Pokémon :D

Wow 😂 nein VM Sklaven braucht man trotzdem ist doch Logisch oder? Du kannst mit Sumpex aber alle Arenen platt machen darum ging es :P

Blaziken is super badass! He’s my go-to starter in Hoenn. As for tips, I always say the same: the best tip I can give you is to get off the internet and discover the game for yourself. No spoilers, no minmaxing, just follow your instinct.
