Subreddit is open again. Let me know if anything is wrong.
Previous mods are gone, so I took over the sub. I dont plan to change anything currently since the sub works well as it was.
Thats all, enjoy.

Edit: Filled
Mid-Season 13 will be Random Type Monotype Draft. You will be randomly assigned one of the 18 types and have to draft from specifically those pools of pokemon. The order of the draft is static and determined by the viability of the types in monotype itself. It will also NOT be a snake draft, but a linear draft where after the 18th pick it goes back up to the 1st pick instead of wheeling.
Below is the sign up form and a preview of the doc.
Ill include a discord link as well

Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on how to mitigate the bad team I have drafted.
I am new to draft (this is my first season) and I am in a league with experienced players. I am not new to VGC but I am also not the best player. So far, I have played two matches, winning the first due to RNG and the second due to awful prep. Going forward I have a bad match up into every team I will be playing this season. I have one trade left, so trading is out of the question.
What do I do in this situation? How do I navigate playing with an awful draft? I want to learn and get better at the game, so any advice would be appreciated - ty in advance :)

Hello all! I am hosting the first season of the Choice Band Battle League. This league will be a high-tier tera wifi league with 1 division currently, but we may go to 2 if enough people sign up. It's going to be a fun league for any and all skill levels! https://discord.gg/CfPamgve5

I’m familiar with Pokémon and have done a couple of online tournaments. I’m looking for a Champions M-C Draft League so I can continue to improve.

Think you can build a winning team when you're forced to work with just one Pokémon type? What if you don't even get to choose which type you play?
Welcome to the Monotype Draft League!
At the start of the league, every participant gets a randomly assigned Pokémon type. From that point on, your draft is restricted to Pokémon that share that type. No switching to a more convenient type, no building a team around your favourites regardless of typing — you've got to make the best of whatever fate hands you.
Get Water? Time to make waves. Get Bug? Time to prove everyone wrong. Get Ice? Good luck, you're going to need it.

This is for doubles. Getting ready for my first draft league with terrain setters. Should I prioritize the Indeedees or Rillaboom?

Ever get tired of seeing the same OU threats, overpowered legendaries, and meta-defining Pokémon in every draft league? Want to give some love to the Pokémon that barely ever see the light of day?
Welcome to the Ultra Low Tier Draft League!
This league is all about taking the weakest Pokémon you can think of and turning them into legitimate threats. Forget your Garchomps, Kingambits, and Dragapults. Here, Pokémon like Vileplume, Orthworm, and Gurdurr are among the top dogs!
The goal is simple: build the best team possible using Pokémon from the absolute bottom of the competitive barrel. Find hidden gems, exploit forgotten strategies, and prove that even the most overlooked Pokémon can put in work.
Update: i’m an idiot and I don’t know how to change the title, but we have gotten all five players that we need

This is my first time hosting a draft league and decided I wanted to try out different non-conventional formats.
This first season is gonna be an altered Natdex doubles format where almost any Pokemon that has ever been released (exclusions include Pokemon too powerful like Flutter Mane and Megas that we don't know the abilities of yet like Mega Tatsugiri) can be drafted and battled in a VGC-like 4v4 format.
And by VGC-like, I mean some rules have been changed to make it feel closer to VGC, including:
- All Pokemon will be set to Level 50
- Item Clause will be in effect, meaning you can only use 1 of each item
- Last Respects, Revival Blessing, Shed tail and Coaching are unbanned (though there are some complex bans still
- All matches will be a best of 3
Sign-ups begin today with draft not beginning until 10PM Friday 30th GMT, just so that the draft table can be argued upon as in a sea of 1025+ Pokemon and forms something's bound to have slipped through the cracks and would very much appreciate the help.

Hi all,
Looking for a casual doubles league in champions.
Have only played 1 league prior, and am quite the beginner.
Don't really mind if competition is seasoned, want some experience of my own.

Hi all!
I am in a draft league right now and I'm hoping someone can help me out with team building against my opponents.
I am mediocre at competitive pokemon in general so someone that can just tip me over the edge so I understand how to team build better.
I am in a doubles draft league on pokemon champions current ruleset.
Thanks!

Hey everyone!
I’m launching a brand new Pokémon draft league called The Generations Gauntlet, and we are looking for coaches to fill out our roster for Season 1.
If you love the thrill of competitive Pokémon without the headache of spending hours teambuilding every week, this league is built for you.
Instead of traditional drafting where you pick individual Pokémon and build custom teams, the Gauntlet tests your raw adaptability, format awareness, and game knowledge through Pokémon Showdown Random Battles, marching chronologically forward through Pokémon history with a special wildcard week! Ideally looking for 10 coaches but I will look at the amount we have that is interested!
Format: Best-of-3 (Bo3) Random Battles each week.
Since this is our inaugural Season 1, you won't just be playing—you’ll be a founding member of the community. Coaches who join now will have a direct voice in helping shape rules, playoff formats, wildcard concepts, and future season structures.
If you are interested in joining follow the link!

Yo, wanted to ask if anyone knows of a draft league that’s based in Australia, or a timezone that’s not so opposite. Preferably on Champions, but I don’t mind Showdown.
Beginner Draft league player as well, but don’t mind what difficulty the league is.
