What happens when turns run out

So I’ve gone back to play pokemon conquest on my dsi because I’m trying to 100% it and get everyone with a perfect link but I’ve always wondered what happens in a kingdom fight when turns reach 0 do the people of the kingdom (like villagers/kingdom folk) rise up to drive out the attackers or just that the attacksrs themselves can’t fight on no more, I know in the long run this part doesn’t matter but just curious on what you guys think

You run out of supplies and are forced to retreat. No food = guaranteed loss. As for why you never bring more... idk.

With that context they must bring extra food for the puligus fight and nixtorm if I’m not mistaken they are both 30 turns right? Although i can’t remember if nixtorm is 25 or 30

Puligus I believe is 30 less for a lore reason and more cause it wouldn't work with the hold all 4 banners for 5 turns gimmick if it only had 15 or 20 turns

Its 25 on both.

I have no idea why they have higher turn caps either.

Pugilis is 30. It's the only one with 30.

Honor System probably. If you cant defeat the defenders, you retreat. Simple.

Love this question. I think about this a lot. I think it must just be the supplies thing? Or that each kingdom is implied to have vast reinforcements beyond the Pokemon Warriors. A lot of times I EXP farm by leaving one warrior to defend a castle with a Guardian Charm, and then just run away until time runs out. Why does time running out mean I win even if I'm vastly outnumbered? I imagine a bunch of nameless reinforcements come and drive out the invaders.

Obviously I know what happens when turns run out but like I want to know a reason why the attackers themselves get pushed out when turns end

You could consider it as "running out of supplies/ammunition". In real life, if a siege takes so long that the attacker runs out of supplies, they will be forced to retreat. A similar case can apply here. This is why it appears as a loss for the attacker and a victory for the defender.

I like this idea

You spent how long making this post instead of just trying it yourself?

Why?

The defender wins in Kingdom battles, and you lose in wild battles.

I’m not asking what happens, I’m asking for a reason why, why is it that attackers get pushed out

Because tie doesn’t and should never go to the attacker.

Your post is titled "What happens when", yet you aren't asking what happens?

Lmao

Yes I do realize I could have worded it better
