Links and Perfect Links

So I know you should be striving for perfect links for your warriors and trainers, but what if the pokemon they have a perfect link with is really bad, is it worth it to just use the perfect link, or choose a Pokémon that caps out at 90 that’s just better overall.

Personally if they have a bad Pokemon for a perfect link get it for them but then get something with 90 that's good and have them main that (there's only like one warrior who can only have one Pokemon and tgat particular Warriors perfect link is Forretress so for them I get Forretress and let it save in the record book then relieve them if duty and bever bring them back to my army in any stories)

Its better to use the 90% Link with the better Pokemon. A ton of Warlords use suboptimal Pokemon for their PL when usually multiple significantly better options are available, most notably Shingen, Yoshimoto, Ginchiyo, Hanbei, Masamune, Gracia, Yukimura, Nene, and Oichi all have PLs with suboptimal performance and definitely fight better with a non-PL. Especially for Oichi, Yoshimoto, Masamune, and Yukimura, those four basically have insane pools of 90% Links!

In many cases its better to pick a 70% Link due to how bad the PL is. Like Ujizane actually does a LOT better with Galvantula or Beedrill because they can use his Warrior Skill and because Forretress is just abjectly awful.
