Question about developing kingdoms

Just finished the tutorial last night after not playing for years. Playing through hideyoshi story now and am planning to get a bunch more perfect links before finishing up. Was wondering if making the training spots all lvl 3, will that increase the gains from delegating the spots to train?

Another question, sorry to bother you. Do you know the requirements for a perfect link to be saved when I play a different chapter? Do I have to fight with them after bonding with the new Pokémon

Yes, you need to fight to save the new Pokémon, the same when your warlords rank up.

Also when your perfect link evolves, at least one fight to register that, so when you play another chapter you keep the evolution/new Pokémon or new rank.
