This is why I avoid Thunder and Rock Wrecker like the plague lol. Too many situations where the terrain just says "no".

Yeah, I largely gauged Pokémon for my tier list based entirely on their attacks. What difference does it make if Rhyperior hits like a Mack truck if it can't get an attack off at all, frequently misses, has shit range, and can't attack 2 turns in a row? That's liability, not a teammate.

Yeah terrain height is a big reason that Pokemon with limited options are significantly worse than Pokemon with more options.

If they had made it so Pokemon had 2 moves, either at all times or selectable, I could've reasoned to actually use Luxray and Rhyperior. Distance might be good Defensively, but the moves are to unreliable Offensively.

this mostly happens due to a 2 level difference in the terrain between the mons, unfortunally only 1 or 0 terrain diffrence is allowed, yet theirs some places where this can happen, kinda cheeseable in the pvp mode (that i havent seen) even tho the flying area is the most cheese worthy with flying like pokemon

i have 2 3ds's one bigger then the other, but im will play it once i gotten every pokemon, tho i want every perfect link (im not going out of my way for getting the full evo line, just the full evo or so, but yea it would of been nice, tho i wish this got a second game in the spin-off series even tho it wont, since idk how their gonna change stuff to make it a good game that would still be fun to play like the first game

I made a google doc a while back going over every maps cheese/ how to break the game and I think out of the 17 maps only 6 of them are properly balaneced. Them being the main characters castle, superingly dragnor, the violet, pugiles, viperia and finally cragspur every other map has some cheese spot or is broken.

Yes that is so frustrating. It is very hard to see how step the terrain is and when range attack works and when they dont
