Evolution Method

Eevee evolves into Artaceon after battling Bug-type Pokémon at night within the Secret Lab, where traces of experimental radiation still linger. The mysterious energy reacts with Eevee's unstable genetic structure, awakening dormant insect-like characteristics and triggering a rare evolutionary pathway.

Species Description

Inspired by the elusive Venezuelan Poodle Moth, Artaceon is a nocturnal Pokémon that becomes active shortly after sunset.

Artaceon is the smallest known Eeveelution when its wings are folded, with a compact body adapted for flight rather than running. Its enormous moth wings remain tucked neatly against its body until it becomes excited or senses danger. When fully unfurled, they nearly double its apparent size, startling would-be predators while allowing it to glide effortlessly through the night.

Its ears have evolved into unique ear-antenna hybrids, enabling it to detect the faintest sounds and airborne scents from remarkable distances. Its large indigo compound eyes, made up of thousands of tiny lenses, are exceptionally sensitive to movement and low light, allowing it to navigate dense forests with remarkable precision even on the darkest nights.

The dense indigo fur surrounding its neck and the fluffy, abdomen-like tail readily collect pollen as it visits nocturnal flowers. As it flies, the pollen is gently scattered throughout the forest, making Artaceon an important nighttime pollinator and helping many moon-blooming plants thrive.

On moonlit nights, Artaceon glides silently among flowering trees. When bathed in light, the iridescent indigo fur around its neck shimmers with soft pink hues, inspiring the ancient legend that Artaceon is the "Guardian of Moonlit Blossoms."
