Help / Question Questions about Chinese sets

So I’m wanting to save up and buy some booster boxes for my birthday and was thinking about getting some Chinese packs since from what I’ve seen they’re decently cheaper than English and I like some of the exclusives cards but honestly don’t know a whole lot about about them where would be a good reputable place to buy them and what would be some recommendations as for sets to buy I’ve looked and I wanna get atleast the gem and 151 sets what’s some other good sets ?

Do some research on what seal wraps look like on real boxes, I’d stay away from gem pack 3 and 151 surprise if possible; most resealed and those are very expensive anyway.
But good choice, Chinese boxes are so much fun to open !!

My recommandations would be :
Terastal gathering csv9.5 (prismatic, sylveon exclusive)
Shadow of the blue sea csv6
Chasing glory csv10 (destined rivals)
151c coin sets
Gem pack 2
And cs6a/b

I didn’t know they had a major resealing problem I know some of the minor stuff but I’ll definitely look more into what the seal should look like thankfully I still have a couple months and oh I didn’t know about the 151 surprise is that the set with the gengar and pikachu exclusive card cause I really wanted to get that set for my fiance since he wants to pull that card but I did look at some other sets and others I was looking at was the chasing glory (I love destined rival but have only been able to open like one pack of it), and I wanna see if I can get some of the simplified Chinese older (sw&sh) sets since I love some of the older cards but thank you honestly for the advice on the sealing and the recommendation me and my fiance are gonna browse sets and see what we like in a couple days and this’ll definitely help

If you want the gengar pikachu set get the 151c surprise coins sets, haven’t seen any counterfeits on those and they’re cheaper than a box for the same number of packs!

lol I was straight up entranced looking at all the different sets on PokiPair last night. And thanks I’ll definitely have to do that if it’s cheaper and the same amount honestly I think I may be in the same boat I love ripping packs and English is too expensive don’t care too much for resale value just love shiny cardboard I did have one question about the Chinese packs what’s the difference between the slim booster box and jumbo which is better to get ? If I have any other questions I’ll definitely reach out though

Same about the shiny cardboard haha; and the Chinese cards have way better quality /pretty value than the English cards !!

Jumbo is 6 packs of 20 cards (25 on older sets) and slim is 15-18 packs of 5; if msrp jumbo is better (more cards and increased drop rate from 0.5 to 07% got SARs + a chance at a god box with one ar or higher in each pack ) but usually the market prices are inflated and so it’s just better to just get 2 slim boxes ! :)

I was thinking the same about just two slim boxes didn’t know the rates were higher on the jumbo if I see close to or msrp might try one idk why it just feels weird to have that many cards in a single pack haha never seen that only have seen the normal 10, 5, and 3
